Monte Buckingham and Walter Williams each had 18 points as five Henrico Warriors were in double figures in a come-from-behind 66-64 win over Norview Saturday evening in the Classic at Virginia Wesleyan College.

The #1 ranked Warriors, now 11-1, were down 38-24 at intermission.

Meanwhile, Clayton Leep scored 18 of his 26 points in the first half to help Douglas Freeman distance themselves from Steward before putting them away for good in the second half for a 56-44 win to capture the first-ever Rebel Holiday Classic championship. The Rebels improve to 5-4.

In girls action, both #1 Highland Springs and #8 J.R. Tucker were winners Saturday, the Springers 91-39 over Western Branch, while the Tigers won 57-35 over St. Gertrude's for the Rebel Holiday Classic Girls title.
