#4 Highland Springs 20, #8 Hanover 0: Springers keep Hawks off the scoreboard despite eight Hanover trips into Highland Springs territory. Marcus Taylor with early TD run and blocked field goal for the 4-0 Springers, who host Glen Allen next Friday.

Henrico 22, #2 Atlee 20: One of the biggest regular season upsets in years. The Warriors move to 4-0, hold the Atlee offense off the scoreboard until a fourth quarter comeback put two touchdowns on the board, the last cutting the lead to two, but the Raiders' two-point conversion failed and Henrico ran out the clock to stay unbeaten and hand the Raiders their first loss.

(NOTE: Atlee scored six points in the first half...on three safeties. Henrico defense's shut out streak ended after just over 15 quarters.)

#10 Douglas Freeman 28, Deep Run 0: Rebels back on the winning track beating West End rival to move to 3-1. Wildcats continue to struggle, now 0-4.

John Marshall 28, J.R. Tucker 14: Justices win their first at Tigers' Homecoming, dropping Tucker to 1-3 overall.

Armstrong 36, Glen Allen 21: Jaguars also see their Homecoming spoiled as the Wildcats also advance to 4-0. Armstrong, Henrico join Highland Springs as Capital District teams at 4-0.

Mills Godwin 27, Patrick Henry 5: Wesley Dugger's two touchdown runs in the second half put it away as the Eagles win their second straight to even their record at 2-2 ahead of their trip to Deep Run next Friday.

Varina 48, Lee-Davis 14: Blue Devils roll to a 27-point first quarter to easily defeat the Confederates, square their record at 2-2, and keep pace in the 6A South playoff race. 4-0 Armstrong comes to Varina next Friday....
