GIRLS HOOPS: Hermitage continues roll, move to 9-2...

Henrico had their sights on Destini Walker and the Hermitage Panthers for 16 minutes Wednesday night.

Then Hermitage set their sights on pulling away from the Warriors, and that they did.

Destini Walker poured in 31 points and Tanisha Jackson added 14 as a 21-7 third quarter advantage made the difference as Hermitage defeated Henrico 65-44. The Panthers are now 9-2 on the season.

Both Walker and Jackson added nine rebounds for the Panthers, who next face Varina at home on Monday night.
