SIGNING DAY: Glen Allen High School

Four special student-athletes who have, in their individual ways, through effort, performance and in one case, overcoming major injury, made their mark as cornerstones of the Glen Allen High School athletic program, were rewarded for their years of work at a ceremony Thursday afternoon in the Sheppard Auditorium.

In basketball, Alicia Hudalla signed her letter of intent to play near home for Michael Shaffer and the University of Richmond Spiders in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

In softball, Glenn Walters signed her letter of intent to play in the Big South Conference for their reigning conference softball champions, the Lancers of Longwood University.  Kiersten Richardson was more low key in her decision-making, announcing to the world today she'll be playing collegiate softball at Virginia Wesleyan College!  And Zoe Millard found the perfect mix of softball, coaching, mountains and education and will be playing collegiately for UVA-Wise.

Each spoke with HCS Media Network in exclusive video interviews now available on our YouTube Channel!  For your convenience, links are available below!
